Large businesses: Small businesses:
Can you redesign our current web site? Yes. Redesign is a matter of establishing the changes or creating the new layout. We'll work together during our initial consultation to develop a plan, and then the development will ensue. Can we do our own updates? Absolutely. It's your choice. If you anticipate doing a large number of updates, it may be in your best interest (price-wise) to manage your updates in-house. Should you not want the added tasks, let us know and we'll set up a schedule to do the updates for you. We already own a domain name; we need the site to go with it. What should we do? You're ready for design. We will attach your name to a web address and when the site is ready, we'll put the content on the internet. How long does it take to get a web site on the internet? The answer varies depending on the depth and complexity of your site. We can give an estimate only after we have an understanding of the scope of your planned site. How many times can I update my site per year? The standard package includes one update per year. Should you want or need to make changes more frequently, talk with us about accommodations. Can I choose the color scheme? Yes, you may choose your own color scheme. Let us know what you are
looking for, and we'll do our best to match it. How many pictures can I put on my site? There is a ten-picture limit on your site. In the event you feel that
you need more, talk with us about accommodations. Why do some sites have information request forms instead of just an email address? Can I have one on my web site? Information request forms (web forms) allow people to send you
questions and/or information without having their computers setup for
email. A good example of this is if someone was using a computer at the
library and wanted to send you a quick note. With a web form, the person
at the library can still send you the note without leaving your site.
Without the web form, they would have to write down your email and then
logon to their email account - if they have one. And, yes, Benelda.com
will provide you a contact form should you deem it beneficial. Why should a general contractor have a web site? Web sites are perfect for general contractors because they allow you to display your references online as well as your license, insurance, and contact information. Take some pictures of your best work and we'll put them on your web site. We recommend that you have an email account with a web form because
it is a great way for people to send you spec changes as they arise.
Also, it is a great way for referrals to initially get in contact with
you... you'll eliminate their frustration of getting voicemail, won't
miss their call, and won't be taking time away from what you're working
on during the day - simply check your email at the end of the day and
reply as needed. Are web sites good for restaurants? Web sites are very beneficial for restaurants. A restaurant can use a
site to give directions and/or maps to their location, display their
menu, show pictures of their atmosphere and even have pictures of their
food. If your restaurant is available for special events, has carry-out
or caters, a web site will soon be a must. I'm an artist that sells pieces on consignment. What would a web site do for me? You can display samples of your work online and give some background information on both yourself and/or your work. This will help your referral business and may help you do more direct sales and/or commission work. We recommend that you also have an email account with an information
request form (web form) on your site. |
